Club Car Australia's NSW distributor Golf Cart Group, has announced the appointment of Luke Roberts as Fleet Golf Sales Manager.

Luke has joined Golf Cart Group after a number of successful years with a large Toyota dealership in Sydney.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to be on board and beginning a new career with Golf Cart Group and Club Car. The new product range is great and there is an enthusiasm here at Golf Cart Group that’s impossible not to get swept up in.”

Roberts, at 26 is no stranger to the golf course - a three time Club Champion at The Coast, multiple Vardon Event winner, and graduate of the Jack Newton Junior Golf Foundation - this year he played #1 for St Michael’s in the Major Pennants in a team which reached the Semi-Finals. Speaking from the UK where he is attending the British Open, Jack Newton expressed his delight at a graduate being appointed to such a high profile position, “… the Foundation is all about developing young Australians of character and ability” he said “when a graduate succeeds on or off the course in golf it really validates our efforts and strategies. Club Car is a strong and long time supporter of what we do and we’re all looking forwarding to working with Luke in the future.”

According to Golf Cart Group State Manager Glenn Wilson, Roberts is the first of a number of significant appointments within the organisation.
