A Car like Locking steering column option is available on some EMC model. Remove the key and the steering automatically locks.
Hydraulic brakes are available on most EMC models and is now standard equipment on many of the up-spec models.
All steel chassis is much stronger than aluminum and when rust proof protected will out last inferior light gauge aluminum chassis carts.
Worlds Best Electronics
EMC Golf Cart and Resort Vehicles use the worlds leading programmable Electronics Controllers manufactured by USA company Curtis. This is the same brand of electronics controller as fitted to other quality golf carts including Clubcar, Yamaha, EZ GO and Fairplay.
Dealer and service departments have an Electronic Tool know as a “Programmer.”
Using this hand held electronic diagnostic “Programmer” tool your dealer can trouble shoot and isolate problems and program and customize cart performance to suit different applications.
Carts can be regulated to a low or high max speed, for example for use indoors, mid range toque can be increased, acceleration rates can be adjusted and regenerative brakes can be turned on/off. There is also an “Anti Walk Away Feature” that can be activated so the cart won’t roll away when parked on a slope even if the driver forgets to lock the parking brake. (*not available all models and should not be relied on as the sole parking brake)
Best Batteries
All EMC Golf Carts and Resort Vehicles come with American made Trojan Deep Cycle batteries as standard equipment. Trojan batteries are considered one of the best batteries in the world with life and performance figures up to one third better than some competitors.
New maintenance free UNION batteries are also available as an option.
